This Magic Shaker is so cute. The image does not do it justice. The product is made of a strong durable non-toxic plastic and when tipped the beads flow from one side to the other. What makes it even more fun is that when the beads change sides they also change colors from green to yellow. The kids are so fascinated by this process. The size is perfect for small hand and is built to last. I can see this as a product that will be past down from one generation to another.

Gripper Rattle Review

My daughter first started reaching for this toy at about 4 months old.However, her arm control wasn't developed enough to keep her from smacking herself in the face.Not a problem with lighter toys made from softer plastic.This one is pretty hefty and I had to keep one hand on it at all times.Now, at 6 months, she's doing better and can play with it without risking a black eye.

For an older baby the toy is great.I don't think she's really into the beads yet, but that will come as she grows.For now she loves the colors and shape of the toy.It's easy to grip and makes a fun sound.

Schylling Ambi Rattle Keys Review

My sister gave me this when my daughter was 2 months. The toy was an older version 10 years to be exact lol it was my nephews favorite rattle 10 years ago. Anyways....my daughter LOVES it. She is now 10 months and this is still her favorite toy by far, all babies that see it LOVE it. They are extremely hard to find online..I bought 5 of them already because they are perfect toys to keep your children quiet and occupied! Flower Limb Rattle Review

This is a great idea. Our daughter loved it when she was four months old but she pulled it off of her wrist in a matter of seconds. This rather defeats the purpose of having a toy attached to you baby. She still plays with it four months later but it isn't her favorite thing. It did keep her interest well when we first got it but at the time she wasn't really able to retrieve it if she dropped it so we might as well have purchased another cloth toy with crinkly material and a rattle.

Empire Silver Pewter Dumbbell Rattle Review

This rattle was a gift for our little boy when he was just a two months old. He's now nine months old and still LOVES shaking this thing like crazy!
It's just the right amount of jingle without being obnoxious for those of us who must listen to it and its suprisingly light and easy for a baby to hold and enjoy making noise with. Its also a great thing for teething, the cool metal seems to really sooth his gums.

Dandelion Classic Organic Toy Crinkle Bear Review

The classic organic toy crinkle bear is beginning to become a hit in my house. The bear is quite cute and the white provides a nice contrast for easy eye focus; my little one will track it with his eyes whenever I hold it in front of him.

The head crinkles quite nicely. My baby boy is just beginning to understand cause and effect and this seems to help a little (crinkle the head, make a sound, get a smile. Rinse, wash, repeat). I love crinkling the bear head and watching my son squee with happiness.

The fact this is organic cotton is also a nice touch since the toy does spend a lot of time in the mouth. It seems pretty easy to clean (I've wiped it down and mildly cleaned it - nothing too serious as it hasn't gotten that dirty). It seems good quality and the seems are well made.

The photos do not do justice to the cuteness of this toy! I highly recommend this for young kids

Taggies See Me Rattle - Yellow Review

My soon-to-be 4 month old finds this toy very entertaining.He seems to like that there are so many different places to grasp.The smiley side of the rattle is really cute and I like how all the tags have different textures and patterns.The mirror, however, is pretty bad.While I appreciate that it's not something that would ever break or be dangerous, the reflective quality is so poor I almost hesitate to call it a mirror.It portrays a very warped image.I don't even think my son recognizes it as a reflection instead he just enjoys seeing something shiny.

Ocean Wonders Fish Dumbell Rattle Review

I received the Fisher Price Ocean Wonders dumbell rattles as a gift at my baby shower...little did I know how much my son would love them! He started showing signs of teething around 4 months, so we pulled the rattles out of storage and gave him the fish shaped one first. I was amazed at how quickly he took to the toy, he holds it upside down and chews endless on the green ring. Too cute for words!

As far as the safety is concerned, the toy is a breeze to clean and is easily attached to a pacifier clip so it doesn't fall on the ground. Plus, I've confirmed with Fisher Price that the plastic is BPA-FREE...their customer service rep that I spoke to recently has reassured me ALL their toys are BPA-FREE. Great to know, especially with all the news about BPA being a health concern.

I highly recommend the Fisher Price Ocean Wonders Dumbell Rattles! So much so, I will be gifting them to all my pregnant girlfriends. :)

Kushies Zolo Cha Cha Buggy Review

Ok, this rattle is insanely expensive... and in the first few months it's too big/heavy/awkward for a baby to hold themselves... but I swear every time I would use this rattle my baby would instantly stop crying (until I stopped rattling...).Now that she is 6 months old she has no problem playing with it herself, and she loves to chew on the yellow part.I think the unique part about this rattle is that it has so many different attributes: a funny face to look at, the rattle (both visual and sound), and the squishy yellow top to chew on.A great toy that she'll play with for a long time!

The Deglingos Rattle - Nonos The Dog Squeaker Review

I love the thick, soft corduroy fabric on this cute toy, but the squeaker is a small round bladder that takes a good amount of precision to find and strength to squeeze. Otherwise its the perfect size for a baby to hold onto. I would love to buy other products from this line, but this one falls a little short.

Froggie Face Rattle Review

Well the first time the toy dropped the piece holding the eyes in place broke off.It is very heavy so my 4 1/2 month old can't even shake it.Even when I shake it there isn't much in the way of a fun noise and so it's just another in the heap of useless toys.I was very disappointed - I expected more from a Melissa and Doug toy.

Natural Wooden Baby Shaker Rattle Review

This rattle is beautiful.It is very smooth and has a nice subtle sound.I bought this for my almost 3 year old, who despite the natural coloring, will track the rattle when it's shaken.To my surprise, my 20 month old also finds this interesting and has been chewing on it ever since he first found it.I was also stunned to see that there are absolutely no teeth marks!We have the maple and are ordering the cherry.

Dandelion Classic Organic Toy Rattle Review

I love the peace of mind this toy provides since it is organic- safe for my son and our planet. My 4-month-old son instantly was attracted to the new frog toy and reached out and grabbed it. He really enjoys the touch and teeth tag and I cannot not even begin to explain the comfort it provides me just knowing that this toy is safe with no harmful chemicals. The only change I would make is to have the embroidery on the frog more pronounced to provide more contrast as my son really enjoys the high contrast on one of his other cloth toys.

Full Body Animal Ring Rattle, Yellow - Giraffe Review

its not as small as i thought it was. The rattle sound is soft, its suitable for infants of less than 4months i presume.. cos my gal dont seem interested. Should have gotten it earlier. The material is good though it looks like there's some apparent stitches at the back of the giraffe's head. Should be able to last through washes.

Earthentree Organic Red Abacus Rattle Review

I bought this rattle with some other baby toys last January 2010. Recently we wanted to introduce this toy to our baby, but noticed that most of the paint was cracked and chipped off in tiny pieces. Hops & Kisses Rattle (Baby Girl) Review

Rattle was as soft and adorable as I expected. My only disappointment is the S&H cost was almost double the price of the rattle. Since I ordered several items at the same time as the rattle I didn't realize how much the S&H would be for this one item.
