When my girls started chewing on everything in sight my husband and I went to the store to find them some teething toys(these were cheaper in the store & ours came as a 2 pack). I was looking at the more expensive things while my husband was looking at cheaper things. He picked the 2 pack of these which was the Snail & Turtle. After sanitizing, we gave these to my girls. They were both small for their age and could not hold onto most things. Both of my girls were able to hold onto these to chew on...it did take a little time for them to become really used to holding these since they were still small but they could hold onto them better than a lot of their other things.
That was months ago, my girls are now almost 1 year old and still play with & chew on these EVERY single day. It seems they are always holding one of these in their hands as they are crawling around. They have a TON of different teething toys and these are the ones they always go for.
These have shown no signs of wear at all. We have never put them in the fridge because my girls like them just how they are.
The Snails head & body are a harder plastic & his shell is water filled, soft & squishy. So they can choose to chew on hard or soft.
The Turtles head is hard plastic and his body is water filled, soft & squishy.
If you have Twins or more I would recommend getting at least 4 just in case they get misplaced.
